Newcastle Museum, Newcastle

Opened / August 2011

The Newcastle Museum opened in opened in August following the conversion of three historic railway workshops in the downtown Honeysuckle precinct.  CMD designed the social history galleries including permanent exhibitions dedicated to Work, Play, Transport and Newcastle on the World Stage.  CMD also designed the Coal gallery and ‘Beaumont Street’ – a chronological cross-section of one of Newcastle’s most culturally vibrant streets.

The Library has opened

Our work at the National Library of Australia is now complete and was opened formally by the Governor-General on 6 October. The project has delivered a new Treasures Gallery and Exhibition Gallery, a refurbished Main Reading Room, a new Central Foyer  and a new Bookshop. Photos of the completed work will be posted soon.
